This is what the first floor of our building looked like in the "OLD DAYS". The vault in the rear Right hand side stands open. The door is long since gone but the vault is still there. The doorway to the next door shop is sealed and of course there have been many changes to the walls, floor and counter arrangements. The ceiling still has the old boxed in wiring and, although disconnected, are still in there on their ceramic standoffs. The ceilings in the downstairs area are fourteen feet. There is a back room and half bath. The entire building is heated and air conditioned by a 5 ton heat exchanger and has been quite adequate to do the job since it was replaced in 1995. In the downstairs there is the front glass window and three side windows. There are three doors one of which can be isolated to serve the upstairs flat. The half bath is rather rudimentary but functional.
Should there be any interest, we are in a position to take back a first mortgage position on the property. Property taxes on the property are around $650.00 per year I am asking $500,000.00 + Brokerage, at the moment, and all the utilities will stay. Washer, Dryer and dishwasher are new in 2004. Stove and Refrigerator date back to 1985. The garbage grinder in the sink was replaced in 1998. All are in excelent working condition.
The Town of Perry, Florida has been fully modified and brought up to standard with very adiquate fire protection. The fire Department is only a block to the North and there is a fire plug on the corner. At one time this building was a bank and the vault is still inside.
