This is what I looked like On June
15, 2005. The table I'm sitting at is
solid Red Cherry planks 6' X 8'. I
built it myself as I did with all the
wood working in the kitchen. The
kitchen counter is also solid Red
Cherry. Age has caused the wood
to turn a dark, blood red color.
The washer/drier is just in back of
the dish washer. All plumbing,
electrical wiring and wood working
was done by myself. I'm quite
proud of it.

This is my good friend and fellow
conspirator, Douglas (Spike) Sharp, of
Worsbrough Dale, England.
Although considerably better looking
than I am, by a long shot, I still consider
him a very good friend.
An interesting side note; Spike and I
served over in Japan and Korea at
about the same time, although in
different Army's, Spike was with the
British Army and I was in the U. S. Air
Force, there were good times and some
not so good times.

NopoSan is the story of my life in the U. S. Air Force. During this time I served in
Japan, Okinawa and State side.
There were side trips but all this is explained in the book. I had fun in the service
even though there were some hard times.
I try my best to make light of the bad times and concentrate of the things we did for
fun. My service could best be explained by saying I did my job to the best of my
ability which in most cases was a great deal more than was expected.

The rest of my writing is simply light humor. I try my best to avoid Graphic
Violence, Sex and Bad Language. If the world's best comics could get along with out
it, who am I to change this. I'm told imitation is the most sincere form of flattery. I
admired Red Skeleton, Bob Hope and the other great names in humor.
All I can do is put forth my best effort to follow in their footsteps. Most of my
stories center around life in Mount Perry, Florida.
